Update 14th March 21 – This vacancy is now filled but we’re always open to conversations with new people, we’re a growing team after all.

The time has come for us to grow to a team of 5!

We are a relaxed and remote team so your role will also be remote. We keep in touch using Slack, over the phone and through virtual meetings, though when Covid is all done, you’re welcome to pop into our office if you’d like to. All our employees can work flexible days and hours as long as deadlines are met.

Job description

We’re looking for a Part Time SEO specialist who is also able to edit existing copy for SEO purposes.

You’ll be responsible for managing technical on site SEO as well as off site SEO including link building. You should also have strong copy editing skills with an SEO focus in order to deliver your strategy.

You must be able to juggle multiple clients in a fast and results based environment. We work for lots of different clients, some exciting, some not, so be prepared for a mixture.

We’re looking for someone with a knowledge of Moz SEO software (though not essential) and can confidently deliver reports, take part in virtual meetings and strategise for future results.

We are a relaxed, remote team so your role will require you to work from home. Initially the role will be part time, roughly 10-16 hours per week with a scope to grow as our business grows. Overtime will be available as we require it, especially to those with a broader skillset. Which days you work will be up to you, but they must be the same each week and be during core hours (Mon-Fri 9-6).

The ideal candidate will have or be:

– Strong SEO knowledge both on-site and off-site

– Copy editing skills for SEO

– Confident in WordPress CMS (Content editing only)

– Experience of using Moz Pro (not essential)

– Strong communication skills with both clients and other team members

– Flexibility and adaptability in terms of client type

– Positive attitude – even for boring jobs!

– Excellent time keeping

– Project management skills

– Be able to manage your time and keep to deadlines without being micro-managed

If you have a portfolio of your writing or SEO work, please send it to us via email or attached to your CV.

Part-time hours: 10 – 16 hours per week tbc

Salary: Up to £26,000 DOE, negotiable for the right candidate. Freelancers are welcome to apply as long as they send a portfolio and rates.
