As well known and highly successful wedding photographers and planners, lockdown all but wiped out their businesses overnight, so Helen, Camilla and Kim pivoted to offer a membership website for high-end stock photography, educational resources and social media templates.
The Luminous' mission is to help professionals in the luxury wedding industry build their brands and book the clients they deserve. Though they offer more than simply high-end stock photography; they're a community of luxury wedding professionals each supporting one another to build their brand, and thrive in their business.
The Luminous approached us to design and develop a full featured membership website with a highly searchable and filterable, infinitely scrolling image gallery.
We started with a discovery call to help us understand who their target customer was and how we can reach them effectively. We learned about the sorts of websites they visit, how they present their work and the sorts of aesthetics that frequent their professional lives.
This gave us a pretty good idea of how the website needed to look, so before diving in to pushing pixels, we drew up some wireframes to help us work out the experience we wanted customers to go through on the website. This lead a user flow that feels friendly and un rushed. Once members sign-up, they are taken through to a members dashboard where they can get to grips with everything on offer, understand what’s new each month and focus their attention where they need to.
